The cab-driver who took us from JFK to Manhattan turned out to be a rare specimen – a Jew of Georgian descent, born in Germany, spent a year in Israel (Michmoret of all places), and currently living in Queens who actually voted McCain-Palin. He also had the chance to remind us that "our" bible says the land of Israel is not ours to give up.
Since one of Dubi's tips was not to apologize for long silences you can think of this post as an awkward explanation for the recent lack of posts here.
